They have become less costly and cheaper, and they use a lesser amount of energy than ever before, as I have heard. It looks like a more economic answer all round, because I can just spend my time in that area when I want to be cool, without needing to pay to run the air conditioner to cool the whole house, which is a huge expense. I think that central air will have to wait a minimum of another year now. I would rather spend my money on trips to the beach.
